Today’s review features a detailed look at the interactive math practice program called I Know It. This program is available online via a subscription and does offer a free trial.
I Know It is a comprehensive and interactive math website with over 600 math lessons for students in Kindergarten through 5th Grade. This online program is designed to be used as part of your lesson or as independent practice. The activities can also be used to supplement your current math curriculum, tutor your children, or provide comprehension assessments. This online resource can also be used as homework or an afternoon enrichment activity. All activities allow students to work at their own pace and concept skills level until they are ready to move forward. This program is aligned with Common Core education standards.
I used the 1st Grade, 2nd Grade, and 3rd Grade programs as a supplement to our current homeschool math curriculum. The website’s parental controls allow you to differentiate assignments for your children. You can also customize the program to meet the specific needs of each child. For example Bam Bam was able to complete some concepts at 2nd Grade level and others at 3rd Grade level. The website also allows you to monitor progress, adjust attempts at questions, and track performance data. Math concepts vary by grade level and provide a wide variety of questions to practice and subsequently perfect each one.
First Grade lessons include:

Overall, my Cool Kids enjoyed using I Know It four times a week to practice math. As they worked through the program I believe it enhanced their math comprehension and concept fluency. They enjoyed the variety of unique characters and animations. I appreciated the parent’s features and the options like providing students with question hints and explanations. I also found the website organized with a user-friendly interface for all ages.
