Hamelin Stoop: The Ring of Truth, continues to follow Hamelin and his friends on their quest for the truth of who they are. As usual, their trek is filled with plenty of magical creatures, betrayal, friendship, failure, and perseverance along the way. Though this is the third book in the series, a new reader could easily begin here because a summary of the previous books is included.
This new book begins with Hamelin returning home to his foster family after being gone for ten days. His return from the other side of the Atrium of the Worlds brings more questions than answers, especially to his friends Bryan and Laya Collier.

It took me six days to read through all 627 pages of this novel. I found the continuation of Hamelin’s story to once again show the plight of bravery and courage while searching for the truth against all odds. The ending gives you peace that this part of the journey is completed and excitement that there could be another book coming. Bear just started the book and so far he feels Robert B. Sloan has done a great job introducing new characters and creating a unique visual with descriptions of the adventure. I recommend Hamelin Stoop: The Ring of Truth for readers ages 13 and up.
