While participating in a YouVersion Bible study with my husband I came across this story that really touched my heart. I couldn’t wait to share the details of this powerful prayer. Basically, it involves a football coach whose extended prayer was not only captured by the cameras but subsequently shared all over the world.
Usually, these things are not allowed but the audience, as well as those recording, were so captivated by his words that they decided to let it play out. I was truly moved that God always shows up in the very small moments and times when we may think that our audience is tiny we never know who we are touching and how those words that he tells us to speak can affect millions.
I think it is magnificent that the word of God can compel people to open their hearts. I think this experience happens time and time again as people are introduced to life full of possibilities and pure joy through Christ. It is my hope that some didn’t just hear that prayer but that they engaged and wanted to learn more about how they could connect with a force that is all-powerful. I’ve seen my husband and my oldest son do this exact same thing in various places. I have done this myself as well. I am grateful when people are touched by hearing how awesome God is and I hope that my family continues to shine his light in every situation and every location.

As 2019 comes to an end, it is my hope that you were helped, encouraged, or blessed in some way by the things I shared on my platforms. Marriage, motherhood, makeup, and homeschool have been phenomenal parts of my life for nearly 13 years. I thank you for your continued support, words of encouragement, emails, social media comments, and everything else each of you does to help me share these messages. Father God, thank you for the support of each and every person that reads my blogs and watches our videos. Their support has afforded a myriad of opportunities and for that, I am truly grateful. Thank you for family, friends, and all the memories we have made with them this year.
Thank you for the year 2019! It was a very difficult year for Team Kemp; however, strengthening our obedience to your will and growth in your word was worth every obstacle encountered. For those connected to Marriage, Motherhood, Makeup, & Homeschool this year might not have been perfect but we are grateful that you guided us through it all.
Thank you for every year ending with reminders to be thankful in November, to spread CHRISTmas joy in December! Thank you for the encouragement to press forward to pursue with each New Year that January brings. And finally, Lord thank you for the birth, life, death, and subsequent resurrection of your son Jesus Christ through which we have immediate access to salvation. Thank you that one day he is going to return and take all your children home.
Just as you did this year, and in every moment of time prior, we trust you to guide us into and through 2020 because we can accomplish nothing without you.
