Before I jump into this post I did want to check in with you all again. How has your week been? Did you homeschool this week or did you rest? How is your family adjusting to America’s new (temporary) normal? International friends, are you currently experiencing the similar things or are you returning to regular schedules?

We hit up the basics, did a lot of playing outside, and enjoyed a few read-aloud books. I did FREAK OUT when the local library closed. I also may have driven there, checked out 100 books, and then came home. We can’t make it without storytime! LOL

I have found encouragement in how celebrities, authors, meteorologists, zoos, etc are offering online classes for all school-aged children. I also appreciate how many are praising homeschool parents right now. I hope you and your family are well. We (#TeamKEMP) pray that you are conquering each day with grace, prayer, laughter, and patience.

Today, I’m sharing some of my favorite family and parenting books from over the years. Some I read alone and others I enjoyed with friends. Each one I mentioned has been read by me at least three times. Get all those recommendations and reviews via my recent video.
