I always get excited to try products from new businesses, especially when I’m familiar with the owner. I purchased these items shortly after the launch of The Image Collection style brand. I bought three lip glosses and a pair of lashes. There was also makeup sponge included in my package as a free gift.
Product Descriptions Rating: ☆☆☆ Each item was as described on the company’s website. Though there weren’t any swatches included in the online photos, the owner does provide tutorials via Facebook. There are also several brand ambassadors that share photos wearing the products.
Product Packaging Rating: ☆☆☆☆ All the items were packaged well and not one item arrived damaged or open. The individual product packaging was my favorite part of this haul. From the rhinestone accents on the lippies to the shimmer on the eyelashes case, you can tell care was put into the actual image of The Image Collection. If the lips products had their color name on the label, the packaging would be completely perfect. The lashes arrived in a hard plastic case that can be reused as storage. A small lash wand was also provided to keep the lashes combed after cleansing.
Product Quality Rating: ☆☆☆☆☆ I think the lip products applied evenly and lasted as expected. I always suggest wearing a lip liner to prolong the wear of your products. These lip glosses performed well with and without a liner. The Lady lashes are beautiful in the packaging and on the eyes. The included wand, care instructions, and quality plastic case will definitely aid in the endurance of the eyelashes.
My Overall Rating: ☆☆☆☆ I am definitely pleased with my purchase from The Image Collection and have already shared the brand with friends. The size of the lip products and packaging of the lashes were a pleasant surprise. These items were priced well, shipped quickly, and arrived within four days.
