We have been enjoying the Roar Like a Lion: 90 Devotions to a Courageous Faith book for a few weeks. The quality of the book and content is great for family time or a children’s Sunday School class. Overall, I felt that Pastor Levi Lusko did a good job creating devotions for young elementary children to enjoy with their families. He included some tough topics but kept them age-appropriate for children via the lighthearted and approachable tone. Together, both authors and the illustrator created great discussion opportunities about real-life situations. I suggest using compassion, grace, and answering questions with biblical authenticity while using this with your children. After reading through the entiredevotional myself, I recommend this book for families with children ages 6 to 9 years old. Tommy Nelson Books presented another awesome tool to spark meaningful conversations with your children while teaching them the importance of daily scripture study.
