CONGRATULATIONS to everyone that had a hand in creating Hair Love! This was awarded an Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film, on Sunday.
This tale is beyond adorable paired with confidence and love. Watching a young girl attempt to give her daddy rest while she styled her own hair was the perfect recipe for disaster. Thankfully, a little teamwork, patience, and product allowed the father/daughter duo to be successful stylists! This book is a great reminder to little girls that their hair is gorgeous, no matter what. This would be a fine addition to any home or local library. I recommend for ages 4 and up.
