Last week I enjoyed a sermon by Pastor G. Craige Lewis entitled “The Remnant”.
My 4 Favorite Points:
- God always chooses quality over quantity.
- In order to be a good protector, provider, and priest, a man gets tested with work ethics, discipline, and strength.
- In order to be a good help meet, a woman is tested in areas of submission and trust.
- When you made the decision not to compromise for the sake of worldly pleasures and gain, you joined God’s remnant and became set apart from the world.
This sermon was very encouraging and filled with reminders that we must fully trust God in ALL AREAS of our life. Even his testing is done to ensure we reach our purpose.
